Islamic Foundation Trust, Chennai, organized its own "Grand Book Fair" in the hill town Ooty. Al-Hamdu Lillah. 

The Book Fair was inaugurated by Mr. Nagarajan, District Library Officer, Nilagiri District, Tamil Nadu. While addressing the gathering Mr. Nagarajan congratulated IFT for making the tourist hill town into the town of knowledge by organizing the Book Fair. 

The first of its kind, IFT's grand book fair attracts the attention of the tourists. Thousands of tourists from all over India, speaking different languages and even foreigners throng the IFT Book Fair since the day of opening. The book fair will be opened till 10 th June 2007 daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

The Holy Qur'an, Life of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), History of companions and several other titles in Tamil, English, Urdu, Hindi and Malayalam languages have been displayed in the book fair.
